“Don’t be everything to others and nothing to yourself”

Meet Jasmine – Therapist for women & Caregivers in Florida

Licensed Therapist

I am a Licensed Therapist with experience supporting individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex relationship dynamics. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, client-centered care and integrates evidence-based approaches with compassion and practical skill-building.

I am particularly attuned to working with individuals who have taken on caregiving roles, struggle with boundary setting, or feel emotionally responsible for others. I understand how chronic stress, early life experiences, family roles, can shape patterns of over-functioning, emotional exhaustion, and difficulty prioritizing one’s own needs. My goal is to support clients in developing clarity, self-trust, and healthier relational patterns while honoring their autonomy and pace.

My Approach & Values

My approach to therapy is empathic, nonjudgmental, and collaborative. I believe meaningful change happens within a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, respect and shared responsibility. My work focuses on helping clients understand how past experiences continue to influence present patterns, while building emotional regulation, insight and practical coping skills for sustainable change.

I value client autonomy and view therapy as a space that supports clarity, balance, and self-trust. Using a trauma-informed and integrative approach, I tailor treatment to each individual’s goals, pace, and lived experience, offering care that may be short-term or long-term depending on clinical needs.

 My Experience

I am a first-generation Haitian American woman, and my work is informed by an understanding of how culture, stigma, and access influence mental health care. I approach therapy with cultural humility and sensitivity to the unique contexts that shape each person’s experience.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to increasing mental health awareness and supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds who may feel overwhelmed, burned out, or underserved. I am especially passionate about helping clients strengthen boundaries, reduce emotional responsibility, and prioritize their well-being in ways that are sustainable and aligned with their values.

My Education

  • Bachelors of Arts in Psychology

Offering Culturally Sensitive Therapeutic Services

Individual Therapy

Person-centered, trauma-informed therapy for adults navigating anxiety, grief, relational stress, and boundary challenges. Services are offered in both English and Haitian-Creole, with care tailored to your lived experience ad goals.

Caregiver Support

Caring for a loved one with a significant medical condition can feel overwhelming, isolating, and emotionally exhausting. Caregiver support therapy offers a safe, compassionate space to explore caregiver stress, grief, and emotional burnout while learning healthier ways to cope and set boundaries. You do not have to navigate this alone.

Women's issues

Womanhood brings both fulfillment and emotional complexity. Therapy supports women navigating relational stress, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional changes related to hormonal shifts in a supportive, nonjudgmental space.

John Green

"Mental Health problems don't define who you are. They are something you experience. You walk in the rain and you feel the rain, but you are not the rain."

Matt Haig

" I am bent, but not broken. I am scarred, but not disfigured. I am sad, but not hopeless. I am angry, but not bitter. I am depressed, but not giving up."
